Links Links and more Links

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Just a few links for you this  great Wednesday.

  • Some great (free)technology resources pointed out over at The Open Source Church
  • A really cool new device to record TV to your computer over at Gearlog
  • A chance for a business makeover from The Church Of The Customer
  • A few good thoughts from the man himself Seth Godin
  • And lastly, I want one of these, an ultra portable, and when I say ultra I mean really small and really lightweight, laptop for as low as $299. Yep thats right $299. And best of all(and the reason it is so cheap) NO WINDOWS. Thats right it is an open source laptop. AHHH I am in heaven.

Have a Great Day.

Microsft, goes open, Harnett County Politics, and more

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

Just a few things that got my attention this week:

  • Microsoft announced they are releasing their api’s to open source developers. Open source community is still skeptical
  • The Harnett County election season got underway and a good friend of mine Jim Burgin of Angier has filed for the County Commissioners race, (more to come on this)
  • 11 Bravo is looking into some new product/ service offerings for our clients. One of which is a wifi hotspot solution. Sound interesting?
  • We are also working on some cool open source software for churches. Check theopensourcechurch.org for the latest on that.

Have a great day everyone!
